Inspired by the underground rave scene of St. Petersburg in post-Soviet Russia, Nike's women's Air Force 1 Fontanka "Yellow Strike" features a reconstructed design in a neon monochromatic palette. The leather upper creates a DIY aesthetic, highlighted by offset layers and messy stitching. Tonal synthetic suede is used on the Swoosh and heel, while the dual tongues are made from soft textile. The sneaker's monochromatic finish is broken up by a white Nike React cushioning unit built into the midsole. Under the midsole, the rubber outsole is split down the middle and the two halves seem to be put together in the wrong order.
