The Aimé Leon Dore x New Balance Rainier 'Brown', part of an outdoor capsule collection, is a modern interpretation of the hiking boot worn by mountaineer Lou Whittaker during his ascent of Everest in 1982 The waterproof Gore-Tex upper is constructed from brown Cordura material with tonal suede overlays and bright green accents around the soft leather collar. The Flying NB logo is embossed on the back panel, while a leather dual-logo tag adorns the gusseted tongue. Light cushioning is provided by the EVA midsole, which is reinforced with a Vibram rubber outsole.
