In May 2017, three Nike athletes attempted to break the two-hour marathon barrier wearing shoes with Nike Zoom technology. The Nike Zoom Fly SP "Varsity Red" pays homage to this effort, with a similar design to the Breaking2. A light pink translucent upper reveals a supportive midfoot, complete with striped detailing and Swoosh branding. The white midsole features a single stripe, while the durable outsole features a mix of white and orange.
