In 2018, adidas teamed up with Munich-based A Kind of Guise to create a new iteration of the UltraBoost. The A Kind of Guise x UltraBoost 'AKOG' features a Primeknit upper with a ribbed stitching pattern and a wraparound external lacing system that subtly functions as the Three Stripes. The premium suede heel overlay features embossed AKOG branding, while contrasting colors appear on the heel and tongue. A Boost midsole adds cushioning, while a multi-colored outsole highlights the predominantly monochromatic colorway.
