The Nike Dunk Low SB "Sandy Bodecker" features a unique design inspired by the one-of-a-kind 2003 Charity Dunk. The low-top was crafted from patent leather in the signature colors of eBay, a popular site where the shoes were auctioned off for charity to benefit Portland skateparks. Remaining a mystery for years, the mysterious winner was eventually announced by Sandy Boedecker, the "patriarch of Nike Skateboarding." CompanyNike made sure to keep the shoe limited to one piece by destroying a sample pair, which is recreated here with translucent cut-out windows. Inside the shoes are custom photo insoles custom-made by designer James Arizumi that display images honoring Sandy Boedecker's legacy.
